General Subject Support Services
The General Subject Support Services of the Academic Center for Excellence is open to students on a walk-in basis. Students will find a friendly and professional learning environment where they can explore and enhance their knowledge of their academic coursework. The primary goal of the service is not only to tutor students in their coursework, but also to help improve their overall study skills and strategies to be successful in their academic endeavors.
Walk-In Hours: No appointments are currently needed - please check the availability of Academic Mentors (Tutors) for a particular subject you need assistance with, using the Academic Mentor Schedule button below, and visit the Center during those specific times. If you need assistance in a particular major discipline or course that we do not currently have an Academic Mentor for, stop by the Academic Center for Excellence in Butler Library Room 145, to complete an Academic Mentor Request Form, and we will try our best to find someone that could provide support for that course.
Monday–Thursday: 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
Friday: 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
Location: E.H. Butler Library 145
